These terms ("Terms") apply to individuals who receive, purchase, or redeem gift cards, value-codes, vouchers, experiences, or similar rewards via Huuray.com ("Site") or related flows (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version on the Site. The "Last updated" date indicates when changes were made.
1) Types of Products
1.1 Partner Gift Cards (Huuray as authorized reseller)
Gift cards sold on the Huuray platform are Partner Gift Cards. Huuray sells these gift cards as an authorized reseller for its own account and risk. The gift cards are issued by Huuray's brand partners (e.g., Zalando, H&M, etc.), and the actual redemption takes place at the respective partner.
Redemption & support: The partner is responsible for the redemption of the gift card, product/service quality, defects, and any statutory cash redemption rights. Inquiries regarding redemption should be directed to the respective partner.
Bankruptcy: If a partner ceases trading or goes bankrupt, Huuray cannot refund or exchange the value of Partner Gift Cards, unless required by applicable law.
Partner terms: Each partner's own terms, fees (if any), and geographical restrictions apply. You must review and accept these upon redemption.
Huuray's redemption platform (reward.huuray.com) exclusively supports the purchase and redemption of Partner Gift Cards and physical products. The Freedom-of-Choice Gift Card cannot be purchased via this platform.
1.2 Freedom-of-Choice Gift Card (Huuray as issuer)
The Freedom-of-Choice Gift Card is a Huuray-issued voucher or code that can be redeemed on Huuray.com for a wide range of options — including gift cards, experiences, physical products, etc.
Huuray is the contractual counterparty for this product. Once you receive your Freedom-of-Choice Gift Card, you can explore the categories and choose how to use your value.
Gift cards/activation codes issued by Huuray are Huuray's Multi Purpose Voucher (MPV), where Huuray is the issuer. The gift cards are only valid when payment has been made in accordance with the agreed payment model between Huuray and the purchasing company.
As a general rule, gift cards are invoiced upon issuance. For companies where it has been specifically agreed that payment only occurs upon activation, gift cards are invoiced upon activation on Huuray's platform.
If the purchasing company enters bankruptcy, restructuring, suspension of payments, or is otherwise deemed insolvent, or if the purchasing company is subject to a hacking incident, security breach, or other unauthorized access where gift cards or activation codes are wholly or partially compromised, Huuray reserves the right to immediately suspend or deactivate all unactivated gift cards and to reject further activation of gift cards that have not yet been paid for.
Unactivated gift cards do not constitute a debt instrument or an unconditional claim, but a conditional right, which requires that payment is made in accordance with the agreed payment model.
The Freedom-of-Choice Gift Card is issued and administered via Huuray's other B2B sales channels and is not available on reward.huuray.com.
2) Using Your Code / Balance
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old (or have legal capacity in your jurisdiction) to use the Services.
Access: You need internet access and a compatible device. Service availability may vary due to maintenance, traffic, or third-party issues.
Balance:
The amount under "Your balance" represents your available value.
If your basket exceeds your balance, you can pay the difference via standard payment methods.
If you do not use your entire balance, the remainder stays on your code until the expiration date.
You can add more value codes to your balance by clicking "Your balance" and entering new codes.
Delivery time: Digital delivery usually occurs immediately but can take up to a few business days. Physical goods may take longer due to postal or courier delays.
Errors: You are responsible for providing correct information. If you enter incorrect delivery or redemption information, Huuray cannot guarantee recovery once the code has been delivered or redeemed.
3) Fees & Limits
Huuray fees: No fees are charged to purchase or redeem Partner Gift Cards on the platform reward.huuray.com.
Partner fees: Individual partners may have fees or restrictions, which are stated in their own terms.
Limits: Huuray may apply transaction or value limits for fraud prevention or compliance purposes.
Taxes: Any tax liabilities in connection with the use or redemption of a gift card are your responsibility.
4) Sales, Delivery & Right of Withdrawal
4.1 Sales & Delivery
Once you have selected and completed the payment (if applicable), delivery occurs as described during checkout (typically via email or SMS for digital goods).
4.2 Right of Withdrawal
Under Danish and EU consumer law:
Digital content (e.g., e-gift cards or codes): By selecting instant delivery, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once delivery has begun.
Partner Gift Cards: Any extension, exchange, or cash redemption must be handled directly with the partner according to their terms.
Physical products or experiences: Returns or cancellations follow the conditions stated at the time of purchase.
5) Validity
Freedom-of-Choice Gift Card / value codes: Valid for 12 months from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Partner Gift Cards: Validity is determined by the individual partner and must be checked in their own terms.
Expired Freedom-of-Choice Gift Cards/value codes (Huuray is issuer): Once expired, the "balance" cannot be used unless an extension is permitted by the issuer or required by law. Freedom-of-Choice Gift Cards/value codes received free of charge from the issuer, or originally sold B2B and later received from a company, e.g., as a customer gift, employee gift, etc., cannot be redeemed for cash or extended upon expiration.
6) Identity, Fraud & Compliance
To prevent fraud and ensure compliance with the law, Huuray may request verification (such as name, email, phone, or address). In certain cases, additional information may be required to comply with Danish and European anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
Huuray may suspend or cancel access without notice if there is suspicion of misuse, incorrect information, or a legal obligation to do so.
7) Partner Availability & Substitution
Availability: Partner selection, denominations, and products may change without notice.
Alternatives: If a specific option is no longer available, Huuray may suggest alternatives of equivalent value.
No guarantee: Huuray does not guarantee the continued availability of any specific partner or brand.
8) Liability & Warranties
Partner liability: Huuray sells Partner Gift Cards as an authorized reseller for its own account and risk. The issuing partner is responsible for the actual redemption of the gift card and the delivery of the product/service in accordance with the partner's own terms.
Huuray's liability: Huuray's liability for any claim is limited to the value paid to Huuray for the affected product, unless otherwise required by law.
Exceptions: Huuray is not liable for indirect losses, transport delays, or system failures, except where required by mandatory consumer law.
Consumer rights: Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under Danish or EU law.
9) Intellectual Property Rights
All logos, trademarks, and visual materials displayed on Huuray.com are protected and owned by Huuray or its partners. You may not use them without written consent.
10) Privacy & Cookies
Your personal data is processed in accordance with Huuray's privacy policy (GDPR compliant).
Data is stored in the EU.
We may use approved US sub-processors under standard contractual clauses.
We use Cookiebot for cookie consent and may use marketing cookies based on your consent.

11) Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with a gift card, product, or service purchased or redeemed via Huuray, please contact support@huuray.com.
You can also submit a complaint via the EU Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) portal using our email address:support@huuray.com.
12) Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Danish law, with the Copenhagen City Court as the court of first instance.
Consumers may also invoke mandatory consumer protection rules in their home country where applicable.
13) Miscellaneous
Invalidity: If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains valid.
No assignment: You cannot transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms.
Force majeure: Huuray is not liable for events beyond its reasonable control (e.g., network outages, strikes, or government actions).
Language: In the event of discrepancies between translations, the Danish version shall prevail for Danish customers.
